Rocca di Botte
Rocca di Botte rises in a place protected by the mountains, on the northern slope of Mount La Corte. The nature that surrounds the village is made even more beautiful by this tranquility that pervades the atmosphere, as if silence and peace make the leaves of the trees more glittering, the sky bluer. Guarded in the heart of the village, however, there is a church of great charm, the church of Santa Maria della Febbre, where valuable frescoes dating back to the fifteenth century are preserved: its name would be linked to the plague epidemics of its foundation and was in fact also used as a hospital. Finally, the flavors of tradition are special: in particular, the most characteristic product is red garlic, rich in essential oils and with great benefits for the body.
